Soundtrack "1/2" from "Music for Airports" by Brian Eno "Airport Stories" was a spec film created as a proof of concept for an architectural film about a new international airport. From a farewell to loved ones, the happiness of seeing a familiar face, or the excitement and anticipation of new experiences in distant lands, airports play host to the full range of human emotions. This short film isolates one of those experiences - that of a child anxiously awaiting the arrival of a loved one - within a new and otherwise empty airport terminal to elicit a visceral response from the viewer. Nominated for Best Editing and Best Overall Film in the 2009 CGArchitect 3D Awards.
Music for Real Airports is a multimedia art project by musicians The Black Dog and interactive artists Human which is presented in art galleries. It is also a new album of music by the Black Dog. It is a response to the reality of occupying the semi-public space of an airport, and a contemporary reply to Brian Eno's work from the 70s.
